Manifesto

1) If you have received a duck it is because you have touched someone’s heart and deserves appreciation and recognition.  You are now encouraged to quack it forward to someone who touched your heart and even acquire more ducks to quack even more.

2) Why a duck?

Because a duck in Danish is an “and”.
Appreciation and recognition in Danish is “anerkendelse”.

And + anerkendelse = ANDerkendelse!

3) Why give appreciation and recognition?
It is about empowerment. When we give appreciation and recognition to others we empower them to keep doing what we appreciate them for doing. The “AND” is to show that we care and a physical manifestation of how much we appreciate what they do.

It also helps us to realize who we appreciate in our daily lives and take some time to show care for someone else, what we might not have the opportunity to do normally. It is a chance to be positive and proactive and hopefully it will also make YOU feel better.

How to do it
Step 1
You acquire a duck (and)
step 2
You give the “AND” to someone you would like to give appreciation and recognition for having touched your heart and tell them why
Step 3
You take a picture of the person holding the duck
Step 4
You send the picture with a text of why you have given this person an “AND” to this blogs email anderkendelse@gmail.com
Step 5
You send the link to the person you have given an “AND”  to give them even more appreciation and hopefully encourage them to quack it forward to another person.
